More Streetcar Task Force Members come out in Opposition

As reported today in the Idaho Statesman, several more Streetcar Task Force members have joined in opposition to the Boise Streetcar in a letter to Boise Mayor Dave Bieter.

"The letter writers support public transportation and the mayor’s efforts to enhance the downtown area and but suggest the city “refocus the task force’s efforts to develop more appropriate projects and ideas to enhance transportation in Boise’s downtown and beyond.”

The letter is signed by Ed Dahlberg, St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center; Liz Fitzgerald, Unico Properties (US Bank building); Mike Gwartney, State of Idaho; George Iliff, Collier International; James Kissler, Norco; Doug and Skip Oppenheimer, Oppenheimer Companies; Mark Rivers, Brix & Co. (BoDo); Scott Schoenherr, Rafanelli and Nahas (Boise Plaza) and Maggie Soderberg, J.R. Simplot Co."
