Now that the city elections are over and the incumbents have been put back in office, it is time for a renewed effort to make them understand that their re-election is not a message from the public that the streetcar is supported.
From what they have said in the past, it is pretty much a given at this point that all council members are either pro-streetcar or could easily be swayed in that direction. The majority of the public is against the streetcar. Should the cities grant application be approved, it is the duty of the city council to take the public input into consideration when considering their vote.
